Yellowknife is the capital and largest city in the Northwest Territories and the second largest in Northern Canada. This building was constructed in a postmodernist architectural style, representing the city's efforts to add visual interest into the skyline. Having a population of approximately 19,000 people, Yellowknife has a skyline that could match a city of 250,000 or more.
